Braille In is a Braille keyboard designed for use by persons who are blind or have low vision. Braille In connects to the keyboard port of a personal computer and requires no resident software on the computer, which allows this keyboard to work with any operating system. Braille In has eight Braille keys, a space bar, and ten function keys, and provides support for a full 102-key keyboard, including key combinations with Shift, ALT, CTRL, etc. Its ergonomic design makes long documents easier to enter. A national Braille code and keyboard emulation are pre-installed, but can be changed by loading a new translation table configuration into flash memory. Braille In includes a keyboard unit with adapter, software for loading new Braille tables, and a manual in print and on disk. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Personal computer with DIN or PS2 keyboard port and serial port. WARRANTY: One year.
