Man indicted on rape, sodomy charges

Aug. 8--A grand jury indicted a man on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy on July 22.

According to the court papers, between March 1 and March 11, 2019, Adrian Wilson, 30, Whitlock Road, Waco, inserted car keys and a cucumber in another person's body while the victim was incapable of consent.

Criminal abuse indictment

Also on July 22, the grand jury indicted Christopher Cockerham, age and address unknown, on a charge of first-degree criminal abuse.

His indictment states he beat a 9-year-old with a belt daily.

An indictment does not indicate guilt, only that grand jurors believe the state has enough evidence to prosecute.
