Man sexually abused 5 girls for years in central Pa. home: court docs

Patriot-News - 4/17/2024

A man sexually assaulted five girls over 15 years in Lancaster County, police said in court documents.

Vladimir S. Sayevskiy, 52, is facing 48 sexual abuse charges, including three counts of rape of a child. Northern Lancaster County Regional police said they filed the charges against the Warwick Township man on April 11 after five victims came forward.

The girls told police that the assaults took place between 2006 and 2021 in Warwick Township. Sayevskiy was in a supervisory role of the girls and was supposed to be taking care of them, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Sayevskiy was denied bail on Saturday because he is considered “a danger to the community and is a flight risk,” according to online court records.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday in front of Magisterial District Judge Joseph Stauffer.
