Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is a nutrition education program which provides supplemental foods to promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age five. All services are free to those who qualify.

Live in Texas
Have a nutritional need and
Meet the income guidelines*

*Applicants who participate in the Medicaid, Food Stamps, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) automatically meet the income eligibility by bringing proof of their participation in one of these programs.

WIC Income Guidelines (based on gross household income)

Although all WIC services are free, participants must qualify using the WIC Income Guidelines.
